From Bean to Brew: Discover the Journey of Our Vertical Coffee Business

When sourcing beans, I look for 3 major flavor profiles: Chocolate, Fruit, and Floral. We have so many great regions to find high-quality beans. My favorites are Central America, South America, and Africa. Once we find the flavor profiles we are looking for, we order samples. We roast the samples at different levels to find where the bean unlocks the flavor. We have a group of 3 or more people for cuppings of the different roast levels. Once we agree on the winner, that coffee becomes part of our lineup.


Today we have seven different coffees. We carry fully caffeinated, decaf, and even 1/2 caf & 1/2 decaf. The majority of our coffees are medium roast as that is where the flavor has been the best. Recently, we introduced OBX Blonde (our 1st light roast) to add a new citrus & lemon flavor profile to our lineup. Note: OBX Blonde makes an amazing cold brew.


I carry single origin beans. This means we are not mixing low-quality beans with high-quality beans. We obsess about quality, constantly. We don't cut corners like others macro roasters just to improve margins. Again, we are all about the quality of the bean, the taste, and our service. This provides you with one of the best quality cups of coffee you will ever experience.
